Our Child Protection Policy has been developed with the collaboration and professional guidance of the Hintalovon Foundation to provide a clear framework for minors and adults in difficult or ambiguous situations.
Its main purpose is to serve as a knowledge base for the prevention, recognition and management of cases of abuse in the community and to provide practical assistance to minors and our colleagues in dealing with such situations.
Child protection is provided in both physical and virtual spaces. In each case, we consider the potential sources of danger, risk factors and their possible prevention, and we also provide the following in these areas.
Within our physical spaces
Within the walls of Engame Academy, in all our programmes, the adults working and staying in the premises take responsibility for minors.
On the external programmes we provide
The adults who are present on external programmes organising and delivering the programme are responsible for the minors.
In marketing and communication activities
In our communications we take care not to communicate anything that minors would not want, that would violate their rights or that would negatively affect them in any way.
Our online education and training platforms
The careful selection of our colleagues, their code of conduct and their training in our child protection policy guarantee safety. We make online materials available in closed, secure systems.
We are committed to the safety of children, which is why we have introduced an online reporting form that makes it easy for minors and their parents to report. All reports are handled sensitively and in an age-appropriate manner, ensuring that the reporting minor can tell us in a safe and secure way what has happened to them. Parents and children can also report an incident verbally or by email to the nearest teacher, mentor or anyone else at Engame Academy, this way everyone can be sure they will be heard and no report will be overlooked.
Our Child Protection Policy provides a clear framework to ensure the safety of minors in both physical and virtual environments. The policy, developed with the professional support of the Hintalovon Foundation, aims to prevent, recognise and address abuse. We are committed to the well-being of children, ensuring easy reporting and rigorous data management. Ongoing training of our staff and adherence to our Code of Conduct ensures the safety and protection of children.
